Football Manager 10 from SEGA was the top videogame on the United Kingdom market last week and it seemed that football-oriented titles would be dominating the chart until the November 10 release of Modern Warfare 2 from Infinity Ward and Activision. But in a somewhat surprising move, Wii Fit Plus from Nintendo has taken over this week, setting up shop at the top for a short time and showing that British gamers are trying to keep their fitness up in preparation for the long gaming hours of November and December.

FIFA 10 from EA Sports also went up one place to reach second spot this week, while Wii Sports Resort has registered the biggest jump in the chart, getting from number ten to the third position on the podium. Football Manager 10 has dropped three places to reach number four.

The biggest new entry of the week has been Dragon Age: Origins from Electronic Arts and BioWare, the role playing adventure said to be following in the great footsteps of Neverwinter Nights and Baldur's Gate II, although without the Dungeons & Dragons setting, which is the property of Atari. Forza Motorsport 3 from Microsoft has dropped two places to reach number six, while Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games from SEGA is not budging from its seventh spot position.

Number eight goes to Grand Theft Auto Episodes – Liberty City Stories from Rockstar and Take Two, the disk that brings together The Lost & Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, the two DLC pieces released for GTA IV. Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 from Konami has dropped four places to number nine, while Tekken 6 from Namco Bandai is bringing up the rear.

Borderlands, the game that Gearbox calls a role playing shooter, has exited the top ten, stopping its drop at 15, while Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has lost more places and is ready to also exist the top 20.
