Philips has launched quite a large number of interesting new products lately, and now, it's about time to check out their official return to the camcorder segment, namely the ESee HD.

According to Tweakers, who've somehow managed to get a hold of a photo of this yet unannounced camcorder, the ESee HD certainly manages to rise to the very high standards of latest-generation camcorders, providing a more than exciting set of features.

So, for example, the future imaging device, that will be housed within an aluminum casing, will offer, beside Full HD (1080p) video recording, an impressive zoom level (23x), as well as an advanced “audio zoom” feature, that will provide an enhanced level of microphone focusing.

Another very important detail worth mentioning is the fact that this Philips camera will apparently pack a Wi-Fi module, enabling users to upload photos and videos directly to their favorite social networking services, in a very fast and easy manner.

The camera also sports an SD memory card slot, so it's safe to assume that users will be able to store videos either on the device's internal memory (no details on this topic, but it's probably safe to assume that this thing will pack a reasonably large amount of built-in Flash memory) or on the aforementioned SDHC or SDXC card.

The available photo of the future ESee HD camcorder from Philips provides very little information regarding the possible control elements, which leads us to believe that it will most likely come packed with a touchscreen display, providing fast and easy access to the most important functions the imaging device has to offer.

Unfortunately, there's still no info on either pricing or availability for the new ESee HD camera, but we certainly hope that we'll be able to come by these important pieces of information as soon as possible.
