Before the end of this year, Canadian mobile phone carrier Bell is expected to be offering its customers the possibility to purchase a new flavor of Samsung's high-end Galaxy S II smartphone, one that is dressed entirely in white.

The carrier did not make an official announcement on this, yet photos with what reportedly is the white flavor of its Galaxy S II already emerged into the wild.

For the time being, there is no telling on when the new device flavor is put up for sale, yet the guys over at MobileSyrup suggest that this should happen before the holiday season.

The wireless carrier already has the Galaxy S II available for its customers, only that it is dressed all in black.

However, since made available for purchase back in June, the mobile phone has seen strong sales, and it makes sense for Bell to bring to its airwaves the white flavor of a successful device.

Unfortunately, no specific info on what other changes the white Galaxy S II smartphone might arrive on shelves at Bell with has emerged for the time being.

Chances are that it will include the same hardware specifications and capabilities, except maybe for a series of software changes.

The price tag for the new handset flavor hasn't been unveiled either, but it should be the same as for the black version, which is currently $149.99 (around 110 Euros) with the signing of a three-year contract agreement.

The mobile phone should come with the same large 4.3-inch touchscreen display as the original handset, as well as with a 1.2GHz application processor, and 16GB of internal memory.

It should include an 8MP camera on the back, with HD video recording, as well as a front camera for video calling. Running under Android Gingerbread, the smartphone will also pack 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS receiver, microSD card slot, and the usual set of sensors.
