14 DAY TRIAL // Lapland Studios, Elstree Studio Productions and Red 27 Films have recently announced a new action/puzzle game “Julius Styles: The International” staring Wesley Snipes. According to the developers, Snipes will also be involved in the production of the game through his company, Maandi Media Entertainment.
The game follows the story of Julius Styles, an international “Facilitator” who lives in a world of money, power, sex and murder, but whose unique talents make him very valuable.
“This collaboration has already proven to be awesome, we’re very excited with Julius Styles and we have big plans for the future! We aim to bring gamers several stories of Julius Styles, several experiences on several different platforms. It should be a wicked journey! Our goal is to deliver a unique game experience unlike anything on the market today,” said Ilkka Immonen, CEO of Lapland Studios.
“Julius Styles: The International” game combines action with a puzzle based format and will be published in episodes.
“This project was inspired by my desire to bring my Art of War, Murder at 1600 and Passenger 57 characters into the game world. Julius Styles will offer something for both the mind game strategist and the kick -ass special ops warrior lover,” explains Wesley Snipes.
“I love games that challenge my mind and reflexes. Julius Styles pits your street knowledge survival skills with your academic intellect and spiritual intuition. The feature film is going to be a blast!” he concluded.
“Julius Styles: The International” will initially be available exclusively through the App Store. The first episode of the game is expected to be released in June 2011.
The game will expand to Xbox live, Playstation Network, WiiWare and Android Market afterwards.
