“If we could take some videos off air then we gotta get rid of Lady Gaga,” Mark Wahlberg says

The world may love Lady Gaga but Mark Wahlberg doesn’t. After her antics at this year’s Video Music Awards, the actor realized a world without Gaga videos would be a better world.

Wahlberg is now in the UK, where he’s promoting his latest film, the action comedy “The Other Guys,” also starring Will Ferrell.

During an interview, the topic of Lady Gaga, her music, her music videos and her fashion came up – and Wahlberg said he was none too impressed by any, as DigitalSpy informs.

“Speaking to MTV UK with The Other Guys co-star Will Ferrell, Wahlberg mocked the Alejandro singer’s appearance at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards,” writes the aforementioned e-zine.

The actor was asked if he’d like to appear in any music video and, if yes, whose. Apparently, Gaga didn’t make his list.

“Beyonce is always pleasant to look at but if we could take some videos off air then we gotta get rid of Lady Gaga,” Mark Wahlberg said.

“Wahlberg reportedly acted offended when asked if he was a Gaga fan, before telling Ferrell: ‘You should have worn meat to this interview. Maybe [a] little steak on your head?’” DigitalSpy further writes.

Not wanting to miss an opportunity to have some fun, Ferrell chose to play the same game saying that, if Mark wanted Gaga gone, he too had a pop artist he no longer wanted to see on television.

“I know who we can get rid of... Ke$ha! I mean who is she? How is that music? How is she a star? She’s crazy!” Ferrell is quoted as saying.

Of course, while the two must have surely been joking, others are not in their criticism of Lady Gaga’s most recent behavior, like that much-mediated dress made of raw meat she wore at the VMAs.

While PETA blasted the singer in a statement saying her dress must have surely been riddled with maggots, even Ellen DeGeneres expressed her disapproval of her latest fashion choice, as we were telling you only a few hours earlier.

“Whether you’re vegan or not, it’s just weird to be sitting next to somebody wearing slabs of meat on their head and their body. It’s gross, you know. Even if you eat meat, it’s gross,” Ellen told Ryan Seacrest.
