14 DAY TRIAL // The abortion battle is still going on in Texas, and it is turning uglier by the day. The clip posted above shows pro-choice supporters responding to anti-abortion protestants by chanting “Hail Satan.”
According to The Blaze, the pro-life group was singing “Amazing Grace” in the State Capitol. The groups have gathered as Texas Governor Rick Perry announced yet another voting session on a restrictive abortion bill.
As I mentioned, the bill filibustered by Senator Wendy Davis outlaws abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy and makes conditions for clinics to be eligible unbelievably harsh.
Clinics have to be equipped with surgical areas that take millions to build and they have to be located within 30 miles (48 km) of a hospital. At this time, only five clinics in the state meet said requirements.
