The polar bear cub will from now on be referred to as Humphrey

I've been keeping tabs on this adorable polar bear cub for so long and I've grown so fond of it that I have to admit I would just love it if I were to receive an invitation to its wedding.

In fact, I dare say that I would not even hesitate to fly to Canada and be there for it should the marriage end in divorce and should the polar bear find itself in dire need of moral support.

As previously reported, the male cub was born at Toronto Zoo in Canada towards the end of 2013. More precisely, it arrived into this world on November 9.

When it was born, the cub had two siblings. Unfortunately, both passed away shortly after delivery due to medical complications.

In fact, this little fellow wasn't in perfect health either during its first few weeks of life. However, thanks to the staff and the vets at Toronto Zoo, it is now healthy, active, and quite happy.

The polar bear cub was only recently named, and rumor has it that it insisted on revealing its moniker to the world itself. Hence the video above.

Thus, the polar bear will from now on be referred to as Humphrey, and I for one think that this name suits it just right.
