Staff at Toronto Zoo's Wildlife Health Center in Canada are pleased to announce that a baby polar bear kept in intensive care at this facility is growing stronger every day.

The cub war born some weeks ago, on November 9. According to Zoo Borns, it was part of a litter of three. However, its two siblings passed away shortly after delivery.

Despite the fact that it is now way stronger than it was when it arrived into this world, the polar bear cub still needs round-the-clock care.

Thus, it is monitored at all times, and its caretakers feed it about nine times per day. The formula keepers feed it contains all the right nutrients that the cub needs in order to grow and stay healthy.

In case anyone was wondering, the polar bear cub is a male. Because it arrived at the Center on Remembrance Day, it has been named Remy.
