On November 9, 2013, a female polar bear by the name Aurora living in captivity at Toronto Zoo in Ontario, Canada delivered a litter of three cubs of which just one managed to survive.

The siblings that passed away did so because their mom had trouble giving them the care and attention that they needed, which is why staff at Toronto Zoo decided to look after the third cub themselves.

Despite its being nursed by people, the baby polar bear appears to be growing stronger every day.

Earlier this month, we got to see it take its first steps and now, courtesy of keepers at the zoo, we can watch it take its first bath.

Judging by the look on its face in the video above, the baby polar bear is not entirely opposed to the idea of getting all cleaned up.

Granted, he does try to make a run for it a few times, but gives up on the endeavor surprisingly quickly, either because it realizes that its legs are still too wobbly to help it pull such a stunt, or because it does not want to upset its caretaker.

Should things go well, the cub will make its public debut sometime this coming spring.
