14 DAY TRIAL // If you're in the mood for a hearty dose of cuteness, I suggest you watch the video above. The footage was posted on YouTube just yesterday, and it shows an adorable male polar bear cub trying to take its first steps.
According to Huffington Post, the cub was born at Toronto Zoo in Ontario, Canada back in November 2013. Its mom is named Aurora.
The female polar bear delivered two other offspring. Unfortunately, neither of them survived.
Keepers say that, shortly after this baby polar bear was born, they noticed that it was fairly weak. Hence, they decided that it would be best to transfer the cub to the facility's intensive care unit, and keep a close eye on it.
The cub is now stronger than it used to be, and has taken a keen interest in playing and in chewing whatever things it chances to find lying around its enclosure.
In time, the cub is expected to go on display together with the other polar bears currently living at Toronto Zoo.
