14 DAY TRIAL // Lana Del Rey already has something of a reputation for her love of vintage-inspired, very atmospheric music videos, so it's no surprise her latest, for “Summertime Sadness,” is on the same note.

The video, starring “Hart of Dixie” actress Jaime King as Lana's suicidal best friend, was actually directed by King's husband Kyle Newman. Actor Alex Pettyfer served as a production assistant on set.
It tells a beautiful, most touching story of love, friendship, death and sadness, in a way that only Lana could do so well. Her fans already know what we're talking about.
