14 DAY TRIAL // Sierra have just announced WET, a pretty neat third-person shooter, that features Ruby, a hot mercenary who can be considered a combination between Uma Thurman and Angelina Jolie. Add a little BloodRayne to the mix and we've got the latest gaming sex symbol.
Artificial Mind and Movement (A2M) are the developers of this title and all we have for now is a one-minute long trailer, only showing us the beautiful main character slaying a couple of her enemies. I could see some cool wall-walking and shooting that reminds me of Matrix and BloodRyane in this trailer, but we'll have to wait till 2008 to get our hands on WET. I should mention that Ruby has some moves borrowed from good old Lara Croft and if you watch the trailer closely you'll see that she wields two pistols, just like our beloved Tomb Raider star.
Since Lara is one of the hottest women on the planet (in her virtual or real version) and BloodRayne was featured in the Playboy Magazine, could Ruby be the next female icon in the gaming industry? Let's just hope that we won't see a WET movie, because BloodRayne the movie was so bad, that it hurt my eyes and brain while watching. If it wasn't for Kristanna Loken, I wouldn't have watched it at all...
Since the WET trailer has a certain Kill Bill atmosphere and style, I was wondering if we'll ever see a Kill Bill game and what genre will it approach. In the meantime, we're waiting for hot news images of Ruby, sitting in her bath tub and thinking about all those men that she killed during the hard day at work. OK, now back to playing Dead or Alive, as if features some of the most beautiful female characters ever designed.
