Vringo, one of the most popular mobile video sharing online communities, has announced today the closing of a deal with Nokia, the world's largest handset manufacturer. Following the new agreement between the two companies, mobiles users now have access to Vringo's video ringtone application as well as to its comprehensive range of media content, via Nokia's Download! Web store.

To get Vringo on your Nokia handset, head over to the Donwload! Web store, choose your country, your mobile carrier and your device type, and download the application from the available list.

After the app is installed on your phone, you will have access to Vringo's wide collection of videos, slides shows, animation, music, greetings, avatars and so on - all these can be used in order to make visual and video ringtones. Also, you can choose what avatar, video or image to appear on your friends' phones when you are calling. Moreover, personalized Vringos can be created, from videos or pictures made by yourself.

Talking about the collaboration with Nokia, Jon Medved, Chief Executive Officer at Vringo, stated, "We welcome this opportunity to make Vringo available to the extensive community of European mobile phone users who visit the Nokia Download! Web store. With its reputation as a gateway to the latest mobile applications and content, Nokia Download! is the perfect tool for accessing Vringo and its ever-growing catalog of rich media."

Note that Nokia Download! is not available all over the world, but only in 17 countries from across Europe: Finland, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and the UK.

Besides being compatible with Nokia's S40 and S60 smartphones, Vringo is also available for J2ME and Windows Mobile devices from most of the important handset manufacturers, like Samsung, Motorola, Sony Ericsson and Research In Motion (which produces the BlackBerry smartphones).
