With Prince of Persia getting reinvented and hype quickly building up, Ubisoft is trying to give the fans a sense of involvement in the development of the title by letting them vote on which Achievement makes it into the Xbox 360 version of the game.

There are three possible choices. The first one is titled "Longest grip fall" and the name is pretty self explanatory as it involves the player performing a fall followed by a grip with the new glove the Prince gets to play around with. The second Achievement is called "Marathon" and to get it the player needs to cross the whole map while running, which sounds hard given the fact that you might need to battle some enemies along the way. The third proposal is named "Combo specialist" and it asks for the player to master every combo move in the game.

The proposals are interesting enough to each be in the game in it's own right, so if Ubisoft needs a vote on this then the already implemented Achievements must be way more interesting than the ones we get to vote for. Still I think number three, which is more fight-oriented, will get the most votes and make it into the game.

The development team also has some love for the people who are planning to get the PlayStation 3 version of the new Prince of Persia game. It might mean that Trophies, Sony's belated response to Achievements, which will be rolled out with the 2.40 firmware upgrade for the PS3, might be in the game and fans could have a chance to a similar vote.

The new Prince of Persia game will re-boot the franchise by ditching the Sands of Time continuity and by creating a darker and edgier universe in which the Prince must again battle his way through enemies and bosses to save the land.
