Vodafone Czech Republic has announced that it has added the HTC P3300 communicator, up until now known as the Artemis, to its product portfolio.

The handheld comes with an integrated GPS module and runs Windows Mobile 5. It is the first phone in the Vodafone portfolio to offer GPS capabilities and a map of the Czech Republic stored on its memory card.

Following the release of the Vodafone 1605, the P3300 is the second mobile phone running Windows Mobile that Vodafone customers can get.

Its built-in GPS module provides users with immediate navigation assistance and location information. Business Email Plus support will also ensure that customers get continuous synchronized access to their email.

With a full set of connectivity features including GSM, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth and WiFi for taking advantage of those hot-spots to connect to the Internet, users can choose whatever technology they think is best. All the combined features make it a really nice device for many purposes, including business use, navigation and fun.

Because it is powered by Windows Mobile, it will also come with the usual software for document viewing and editing. The 2 megapixel camera, FM Radio and media player it comes equipped with will also cover the user's need for fun and multimedia features. The HTC P3300 may not be the best device out there, but it does manage to offer a pretty convenient blend between features that cover most types of use. Starting the 1st of March the P3300 is available on Vodafone for the standard price of CZK 15,977 and will cost less depending on the contract one chooses. Business customers will be able to get the phone for even less.
