HTC launched their new GPS enabled handset, P3330 aka Artemis, which comes already equipped with Tom Tom's personal navigation software, Navigator 6.

The software can be delivered in two different versions, according to the customers choice: the lighter, demonstrative version, meant just for testing the navigation software before the actual buy, comes with a free city map, and the full featured software pack, that comes in with the complete set of Western Europe country maps.

The device has the full set of connectivity features, GSM and GPRS, Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi to permit the user connection to the internet, using the technology of its choice. P3300 also features FM Radio for the user that likes to listen to news and music on the go.

The Artemis also features a 2 megapixel camera, complemented by a 2.8 inch TFT LCD screen, a microSD expandable memory card slot and the HTC trademarked ROIIR (Trackball/Trackwheel), to ease the viewing and navigation on the device, all these running on a Windows Mobile operating system.

HTC stated that the handset will be available in October, but didn't mention anything about the price of the phone. Most likely, the device will be available through T-Mobile, and will be released under their own brand: MDA Compact III.
