Although the Google TV platform has rounded up some less than positive reviews lately, some members of the press calling it a bit to geekish for its own good, that hasn't pushed manufacturers away from Google's solution, according to some sources Vizio and Toshiba planning to release Google TV enabled devices at CES 2011.

Coming to us via SlashGear, this report cites unnamed sources in the industry that state both companies are hard at work in order to debut Google TV products at CES 2011, held between January 6-9 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

When asked about their future plans regarding Google TV however, the two companies denied to confirm these rumors, although a Toshiba spokes person told journalists that Google is one of their key partners in the PC business, most likely this being the case with the TV side s well.

Although Vizio declined to comment anything in regards to unannounced products, its entrance on the Google TV market would come as great news for the search giant since Vizio has recently become the leading maker of LED television sets in the US.

Furthermore, their solutions usually target more budget conscious buyers, allowing Google TV to reach lower price point that current solutions don't address right now.

This will surely come as a great help to Google since the company has clashed with TV networks that don't want their online content available on Google's platform.

If these rumors become true, then Vizio and Toshiba will join Sony and Logitech, these being the only two companies that have Google TV offering available in the market, although Samsung could release such products in the near future.

Fortunately, it isn't that much time left until CES 2011 will open its gates, when I am sure that all these rumors will be put to rest.
