Activision has announced having released a new song pack for Guitar Hero: World Tour, the most recent music simulation that it has put out, not focused on any particular band.

The Victory Track Pack is out for the PlayStation 3 from Sony, the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the Nintendo Wii and allows players to play along to tracks like “NJ Legion Iced Tea” from A Day To Remember, “Bomb the World” from The Sleeping and “I Am The Arsonist” by Silverstein.

Those who plan to get the pack need to shell out 440 Microsoft Points or 5.49 dollars. Players can also get individual tracks from the Victory Pack for 160 Microsoft Points or 1.99 dollars.

Activision is saying that it will launch other three songs packs this month, adding nine more tracks to those that can be downloaded and then played by fans of Guitar Hero: World Tour. The Eagles of Death Metal Track Pack is scheduled for July 16 and will offer three songs: “Anything Cept The Truth,” “Cherry Cola” and “I Only Want You.”

This will be followed by the Vagrant Records Track Pack, prepared to deploy on July 23rd and packing “All the World is Mad” from Thrice, “Young Cardinals” by Alexisonfire and “The Martyr” from Senses Fail.

On the penultimate day of July, players will also get a chance to download three tracks: “Bloodmeat” by Protest the Hero, “I’m Shipping up to Boston” from Dropkick Murphys and “New Wave” from Against Me!

Activision is also working hard to expand the number of music-oriented videogames that it puts out. DJ Hero, which ships together with a controller that allows spinning and scratching, will be coming out in time for Christmas, while Guitar Hero 5 is also being worked on and recently saw the unveiling of some of the tracks it will feature.
