Model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has reportedly been signed on to replace Megan Fox in “Transformers 3”

Last week, confirmation came after months of speculation as to Megan Fox’s role in the “Transformers” franchise, namely that she wouldn’t be reprising it for the upcoming third film. Explanations were not offered, which accounts for the rumors now making the rounds. Fans of the franchise should breathe easy, now that a replacement has been found, as MTV UK informs.

She may not have acting experience, but model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is now a Victoria’s Secret angel and has a body and face to kill for. She will replace Megan in the third “Transformers” film, thus apparently confirming earlier reports that Fox left of her own accord because she could no longer take Bay’s abuse as regards her looks. As we also informed you the other day, the director makes very strict demands of his female stars and it would seem Megan simply did not cut it anymore.

“British model Rosie Huntington Whiteley has reportedly been approached to fill Megan Fox’s role in Transformers 3. It’s claimed the supermodel has been signed up by film bosses working on the sequel. Earlier this week it was announced that Megan Fox had pulled out after rowing with the director Michael Bay when filming the last film in the series. And it seems he’s gone after a similarly stunning star to take her place. Huntington Whiteley has never acted before but has hit the headlines dating Jason Statham and Kylie’s ex Oliver Martinez,” MTV informs.

As also noted above, staff members familiar with what goes on behind the scenes on “Transformers” were telling the media the other day that Megan was not fired but chose to leave because she couldn’t stand to work for Bay anymore. The director is known for his strict ways with his stars, of whom he demands they look a certain way, which translates into even stricter rules for actresses. For one reason or another, Megan did not cut it anymore and, instead of having to go through the same nasty experience again, she simply chose to leave.

“Megan Fox walked away from ‘Transformers 3’ because director Michael Bay was ‘verbally abusive’ toward her and ‘she had enough and decided to get out early,’ an individual close to the actress has told TheWrap. […] It’s no secret that Bay has a reputation for being an extremely controlling filmmaker who can be difficult to work with at times. […] Another individual close to the sequel’s production told TheWrap that Bay wants his actresses to look a certain way, and if they can’t meet his absurd standards of beauty, he gets rid of them’,” TheWrap reported the other day.
