Heidi Montag believes she can replace Megan Fox on “Transformers 3,” pleads with Michael Bay on Twitter

The other day, confirmation came of something that had been subject to much speculation since last year: Megan Fox was out of “Transformers 3,” presumably of her own accord and not because director Michael Bay had had his way. To say that fans were disappointed in the news is an understatement but, luckily, reality star Heidi Montag is ready to and convinced that she can fill Megan’s shoes.

Granted, when “Revenge of the Fallen,” the second installment in the franchise, came out, critics were to the point: Megan Fox may not know how to act but she sure does look good in the film, they said. In fact, Fox was as much of a part of the franchise as Shia LaBeouf or Bumblebee are, fans also agree, so having a film without her does not really make that much sense; or, at least, it doesn’t right now.

Having a “Transformers” film with Heidi Montag makes even less sense, especially since she was saying not long ago that her oversized implants prevented her from jogging, therefore one may as well infer she’d have to spend most of the film not running. Still, she claims she’s up for the challenge. “Michael Bay I love your work! I know what a artistic [sic] brilliant genius you are! Cast me in the next Transformers,” Montag pleads with Bay on her Twitter page.

Though her announcement has been met with ridicule in the blogosphere, this more hands-on approach is the result of Montag’s firing her husband as a manager and, after a rather bad experience with a spiritual guru that managed her only for a couple of days, deciding to be her own boss. Back then, as we also reported, Heidi was saying she had a very successful acting and music career ahead of her, therefore she couldn’t afford to have someone handle her business contracts.

“I have decided to part ways with Mr. Chase both as a manager and as a psychic and will scrutinize my business decisions more carefully in the future. I will now be managing my own career as a strong and independent woman,” Montag stated in March this year.
