14 DAY TRIAL // Although she often looks the very picture of misery in photospreads and paparazzi snaps, there is actually a very funny side to Victoria Beckham and she more than showed it off while a guest on a recent episode of The View. Taking a seat on the couch to promote her latest fashion line – her third –, Posh also opened up about married life, what was it like to always be compared with “the handsome one” (David) and why she always pouted for the cameras.
For starters, Victoria told the ladies of The View that she still felt beautiful at her age, a busy mother of three. “I go to bed with David Beckham every night, I’m trying.” Posh said, moving on to add that she felt the most handsome footballer in the world was truly her soul mate and an exceptional father and husband. Still, comparisons between her and David still bothered her, the former Spice Girl joked, since she had grown sick of “always being the funny one,” while David was considered “the handsome one” at all times.
As the entire world already knows, Victoria is also famous for her always-present pout, which is the very thing that makes her look so miserable in pictures. Mrs. Beckham didn’t deny that she pouted on The View, but she did say she could not explain why that happened. “I just think that’s just me. Maybe it’s the way my face falls, I don’t know. At the end of the day I do what I do. Half the time I’m just doing it, thinking, getting it done, sorting out the kids, you know.” she shared.
Since her third frock collection had just been released when she did the interview, Posh also talked some fashion, like how come she always looked so impeccably stylish and elegant when going at the airport to catch a flight and the kind of woman she had in mind when she designed her dresses. Speaking of style, Victoria revealed that her secret lied in having clothes to change in while on the plane, either pajamas or a sweat. She just went to the airport all dressed up and then made a pit stop at the bathroom to change in something more comfortable – just like Superwoman –, Posh said.
