Make room for an outdated cell phone model

Motorola W385 slightly resembles the RAZR handsets, but it is actually not part of this line of phones. It looks great, although its features leave room for higher performances, even if you're not all that picky when it comes to having a fully capable cellular.

The design is one aspect where Motorola W385 scores big time, as this clamshell has smooth straight lines, still keeping it simple. At its 18.2 mm in thickness it might turn out to be slightly bulkier than the RAZR phone models, but as it actually does not manage to classify among this line of handsets, expectations shouldn't be too great.

One unpleasant surprise comes once the Motorola W385 clamshell is opened, as it reveals a 1.8 inch display screen capable of a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. That is considerably small when compared to any other cell phone. As you won't be watching too many videos and probably images of an only rather poor quality, there is no reason to complain about this.

Motorola W385 holds one more surprise for its owner. The clamshell comes with a 0.3 VGA camera, found only in less evolved devices nowadays. The fact that it is also capable of video recording brings little consolation, as the quality of these captures has high chances of being rather low.

The phone is capable of sending email and instant messaging, which might come as good news for some people. There is also a 32 MB of internal memory available, but unfortunately, no chance for an expansion slot included. Because of this, the owner will be able to store only a small amount of media files on it and have its possibilities greatly limited.

Motorola W385 will be available from now on at Verizon Wireless for the price of USD 70, if that suits anyone.
