Get it while it's still shiny

Some new information on Motorola Q900 or Zante has been revealed, letting people know just what they should expect from this device and when exactly that will happen. The phone has high chances of turning out to be serious competition to the Sidekick phone model which has managed to reach great success among people in the US.

Motorola Zante looks quite impressive, both when closed and open too. Its shiny surface makes it look stylish and highly evolved. It's obvious that people at Motorola had a lot of trouble making this handset look as good as possible. For this, they used the slim design and polished look that we have seen in the RAZR models so far.

The phone has a 2.4 inch display screen with a resolution of up to 320 x 240 pixels and is capable of rendering up to 65,000 colors. One thing which many people will dislike is the fact that Motorola Zante comes with a camera of only 1.3 megapixel. That will manage to take pictures of rather low quality, as many other handsets are capable of better performances.

Other specifications include support for a large number of media files. They can be stored on the 128 MB of shared internal user memory but can be enlarged up to 2 GB through a miniSD card slot. Motorola Zante is also excellent for Internet browsing and gameplay, which will provide just enough amount of entertainment for its user.

The sidekick phone concept is almost unknown to people in Europe, as it has been available only on the US grounds until now. Still, it has high chances of reaching a success of at least similar proportions, as a full QWERTY keypad might be of use even to regular people and not only to businessmen.

Motorola Zante will be available at T-Mobile sometime in October, for the estimated price of USD 270.
