Following weeks of wild speculation about breaking up from Johnny Depp, her partner for about 14 years, Vanessa Paradis is finally speaking up: “of course” the rumor is false, she says in a new interview.

The model slash actress is now promoting the film “Cafe de Flore” and, because she's doing the media rounds, she's also been asked a few times about the ongoing reports that she and Depp are done, living separately, not a couple anymore.

Initially, she refused to address the rumors by saying the tabloids always write this kind of things about her and Johnny but now, it would seem she's decided a firm denial would be best.

In a recent interview, Paradis denies she and Depp are no longer an item, the Daily Mail reports.

However, she underlines that the only reason she's speaking up is not because she's personally upset by the rumor but rather because it's hurting her family – her children with the Hollywood actor, in particular.

“People say we are buying houses in the middle of nowhere, or that we have fifty two houses in France,” Vanessa says.

“And that is along with saying we split up every winter and get married every summer, and that I'm on my twelfth pregnancy,” she adds, echoing a statement she made the other day.

Enough is enough though.

“All that is not too serious, but this latest one is a rumor which could cause a lot of harm to my family and my children. Yes it's false – of course it's false,” Vanessa adds, in a bid to put an end to the rumor once and for all.

For those not in the know, glossies and tabloids have been saying for the past few weeks that Vanessa and Johnny had separated and were living in different house and in different countries.

One report even claimed that the only thing they still had to do was announce the breakup to the press, because they'd already told everyone and had even seen attorneys for counsel during the painful process.
