Unreal Tournament 3, released on PC last month, has just received its v1.1 patch, containing a huge number of fixes and making this game even more addictive than it currently is. The patch is available for download HERE, but be sure to read the most important changes in the list.

The gameplay got quite some improvements, such as fixed grenade effects in water, Hellfire SPMA cannon can't fire through walls anymore and fixed bot Pawns losing their PRI at the end of the match, causing them to be invisible. They have also disabled attenuation/spatialization on mission briefing sounds, Flak, Rocket, and Shock do slightly more damage to manta and viper and they fixed warfare scoring for locking down a prime node not called "prime node".

Also, the AI was improved, too and now bots no longer shoot a friendly player if it steals an enemy vehicle and now the bots follow the orders given (such as "Hold this possition"). Other changes were made to the multiplayer mode, server browser, user interface, networking and maps. You will find the complete changelog HERE, on the download page.

Unreal Tournament 3 marks the return of the world's premiere first-person shooter to the PC (and it debuts on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system). Unreal Tournament 3 unleashes the full power of Unreal Engine 3, taking graphics, gameplay, and challenge to a whole new level never seen before. Players engage in intense and hyper-real battles with other human players online, or against Unreal artificial intelligence that sets the industry standard.
