14 DAY TRIAL // It seems that Corsair is ready to unleash its Vengeance upon the entirety of the United States, having just issued a press release in which it provided the details on all of its new memory kits, as well as their prices.
While the official release has only now been made, the Vengeance DDR3 that Corsair has been preparing was unveiled some time ago.
The company seems to be enjoying and almost celebrating its naming as best PSU and memory maker by slamming the market with kits of up to an actual 16 GB of RAM.
To be more specific, the company created six kits, one of which is composed of 2 GB modules, while the rest use modules with a capacity of 4 GB.
At the very top of the list lies the clearly enthusiast-grade CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9, which has the aforementioned capacity of 16 GB (4 x 4 GB).
It also works at 1,600 MHz and has a latency of 9-9-9-24 while working bearing a price of $305.
The second greatest kit is CMZ12GX3M3A1600C9, a 12 GB (3 x 4 GB) offering that is otherwise identical to its sibling and sells for $225.99.
Thirdly, Corsair brought forth the CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9, an 8 GB (2 x 4GB) kit with a frequency of 1,866 MHz and the same 9-9-9-24 timings as the other two, plus a price of $155.99.
CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8 is another 8 GB kit, only it settles for 1,600 MHz and has 8-8-8-24 timings, while being priced at the same $155.99.
CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9, the third 8 GB offering, differs from the other two through its 9-9-9-24 timings and price of 149.99.
Finally, the CMZ6GX3M3A1600C8 is a 6 GB kit made of three 2 GB modules and with clock and timings of 1,600 MHz and 8-8-8-24, respectively, priced at $149.99.
A 4 GB module, CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9, is available standalone and works at 1,600 MHz and 9-9-9-24 timings, its tag being of $74.99.
