It appears that Corsair really wants to keep getting named best memory manufacturer, as it has just put together a whole collection of new memory kits, composed of six members.

Those keeping track of such developments will have learned that Corsair was just named best PSU and memory maker yet again.

Needless to say, the company was understandably excited and issued a press release to bring this to the attention of all who had eyes to read.

Not long afterwards, however, the same outfit saw it proper to deliver a complete series of new DDR3 memory kits, one bearing the name of Vengeance.

It is made up of six modules and kits whose capacities range between 4 GB and 16 GB and which are of the single-channel, dual-channel and triple-channel varieties.

One 6 GB kit is composed of three 2 GB modules in a triple-channel configuration and with latencies of 8-8-8-24, while the clock speed is of 1,600 MHz and the operating current of 1.5V.

All the others are made up of one or two 4 GB modules, which have the same clock speed but timings of 9-9-9-24.

One can simply buy a 4 GB 1,600 MHz module if they so wish, whose timings are of 9-9-9-24.

There are two 8 GB kits, one of which has timings of 8-8-8-24 while the other one runs at 9-9-9-24. The clock is of 1,600 MHz and voltage of 1.5V.

One triple-channel kit has three 4 GB modules operating at the same specifications as the ones above.

Finally, one kit has four 4 GB modules, meaning a full capacity of 16 GB, while its timings and clock speed are the same 9-9-9-24 and 1,600 MHz, respectively.

Both Intel and AMD-based systems should be able to make the best of these newcomers, and consumers from a wide range of the market will find it possible to get their own Vengeance quite readily.

Basically, pre-orders can already be placed, for 63 to 238 Euro.
