Atlus U.S.A. Inc. has announced that it plans to launch a new promotional effort today in order to actually make sure that the holiday spirit is extended well into January 2010. The “Twelve Days of Atlus” program is set to allow all those who have signed up for the Faithful fan mailing list to get access to a very nice exclusive swag.

All those interested should visit the official page of the Twelve Days of Atlus promotion. The objects that can be received are : Touch Detective mugs, Crimson Gem Saga copies for the PlayStation Portable, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 t-shirts, Demon's Souls copies for the PlayStation 3, posters for same title, Class of Heroes for the PSP, Eternal Poison art books, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 Japanese art books, Demon's Souls art book and soundtrack CD, Atlus Online t-shirts, Knights in the Nightmare art book, Rule of Rose soundtrack CDs, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 side B soundtrack, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 art book, Luminous Arc art book, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey for Nintendo DS and Shiren the Wanderer for Nintendo Wii. Unfortunately, the promotion is only available to those gamers who live in the United States of America and in Canada.

Twelve Days of Atlus is a nice way of making sure that some gamers become interested in the mailing list and the fact that it is arriving at the beginning of the new year, when most other promotions have run their course, might make it very attractive.

Atlus is very well known and successful on the Japanese market, with titles like Shin Megami Tensei, with its variety of releases, regularly becoming big hits. In the United States, the profile of the company is smaller but it is making a big push with Demon's Souls, a tough role playing experience, being one of the surprise hits of 2009.
