Hackers of the Turkish Ajan collective claim to have breached the website of the police department of the City of Mobile, Alabama, United States (mobilepd.org).

They haven’t caused any damage to the website itself, but they’ve leaked an archive file that appears to contain information from the site’s databases.

The dumped information consists of names, email addresses, password hashes and other data. Administrator credentials have also been published online.

The attack appears to be part of OpUSA, the campaign initiated on May 7 by several hacktivist groups.

Experts say OpUSA hasn’t caused any major damage, but the Honolulu Police Department has admitted to being hacked.

The Turkish Ajan collective has built its reputation on hacking the websites of major organizations from all around the world. The list of targeted companies includes Mercedes-Benz Austria, McDonald’s South Korea, Toshiba Turkey, Casio China and an Avast distributor from Germany.
