A hacker that uses the online moniker redMin, possibly connected to the Turkish Ajan collective, has breached and defaced the official Turkish website of Toshiba (Toshiba.com.tr), the world renowned Japan-based electronics company.
HackRead, which has first reported about the breach, reveals that the hacker hasn’t mentioned any reasons for defacing the site.
He only wrote in Turkish: “Hacked by redMin! There is no enemy in international relations, there are all competing.”
In addition, he published a picture of Turkish singer Ankarali Namik.
At the time of writing, the website of Toshiba Turkey was restored. However, a mirror of the defacement can be seen on redMin’s zone-h.org account.
Back in January, the same hacker managed to breach several government websites belonging to various public libraries from Turkey. A total of six websites’ index pages were defaced at the time.
