Some additional details on the upcoming bike racing game Trials Fusion have surfaced on the net, offering even more incentives to be hyped about the title.

As revealed earlier, Trials Fusion is a new game in the Trials franchise, set to launch for the PC, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 in April.

Developer RedLynx made the first game in the Trials series over 10 years ago, back when it was just a five-man studio. Today it has over 100 talented developers, all of them working on the upcoming Trials Fusion, and it is part of the ever-growing Ubisoft family.

The PlayStation Blog revealed additional details on the latest and biggest game in the franchise, such as the introduction of the Rabbit, apart from the usual range of motocross bikes, each with its own weight and speed, allowing players to change the way they face the course and competition.

The Rabbit is a special unlockable bike with a lot of pedal power, much lighter than the motocross bikes and allowing each touch of the controls to have an instant impact on the movement of the bike and the rider, presenting a real challenge even to experienced pilots.

Furthermore, players will be able to unlock a quad bike to drive through the levels, a much more powerful but also much heavier vehicle, presenting an additional steering challenge.

Aside from having leaderboards to brag about their skills and compare with friends, players will also be able to bring up to three of their friends in a head-to-head single race or even host an entire tournament to see who emerges victorious and is declared king of the track.

The FMX Mode will truly spice up the gameplay experience, by adding an arsenal of tricks for players to use during racing, performing wild acrobatics and chaining multiple tricks in a row in order to get the highest score. It will truly be a challenge to pull off some of the new and outlandish moves included without a head plant, but they will also reward successful attempts with massive score bonuses.

An extensive number of pilot customization options has been added to the game, with a massive number of unlockables that allow players to even switch their meat and bones rider for a robot.

And speaking of customization, the developers have made the tools they used to create the tracks in Trials Fusion available for everyone, so players can now tinker with the levels and create their own, limited only by their imagination on how many ramps and jumps they can place along their own tracks.
