Along with a Motorola T56KV1

FCC seems to be quite busy lately, not only investigating the US carriers' businesses, but also approving new mobile phones to be used in the country. Among the newest handsets that it cleared we can count three devices that come straight from the Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia, namely the Nokia 3710a, Nokia RM-511 and the Nokia Alvin RM-559, along with a Motorola phone that some suggest might be none other than the Morrison, and which has been spotted at the Commission as the Motorola T56KV1.

The first Nokia handset in line, the 3710a / RM-509, should come to the US market as the North American version of Nokia 3710 fold. The device sports a flip form factor, a QVGA internal display, a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper, Bluetooth connectivity, GPS receiver and 3G capabilities. While the Nokia 3710a comes as a mid-level flip device, there are no exact details on what the Nokia RM-511, also a flip phone, will turn out to be.

The third Nokia handset to pass through FCC's hallways seems to be the most interesting of all. Spotted at the Commission as Nokia Alvin RM-559, the phone should come to the market with 32GB of internal memory, which should turn it into a high-end device coming from the company (the same as the Nokia N97 and the Nokia N900, both with 32GB of memory). According to Unwired View, this phone might be a touchscreen handset mentioned not too long ago by Mobile-review.

One way or another, it seems that the device will come to the market with quad-band GSM connectivity, tri-band WCDMA (900/1900/2100 MHz), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, as well as with a BL-5J (1320 mAh) battery, the same as the one used to power the recently unveiled Nokia N900. Other details on the handset are unavailable at the moment, except maybe for the fact that it is quite long, though not as long as the LG BL40 Chocolate.

As for the last mobile phone spotted at FCC, the Motorola T56KV1, the only thing that is known about it is that it comes with 3G connectivity options and that it will also sport Wi-Fi. As Unwired View notes, given the presence of these two features and the fact that no other Motorola handset available with T-Mobile includes them both, the device might be none other than the Motorola Morrison, which should come to the carrier running under the Google Android operating system.
