Looks like Verbatim has kept itself pretty busy lately working on new and exciting storage products, which they've decided to finally share with the rest of the world in somewhat of a “mege-release”, that includes several external USB HDDs and Flash drive models. However, in order to keep it simple, we've decided to divide Verbatim's announcement into two separate parts, starting first with the company's latest USB-powered HDDs. The first such product released by Verbatim is the Acclaim model, a sleek, small and stylish drive that provides 320 up to 1TB storage capacities, while also coming pre-loaded with backup software for file, folder and complete system backup and recovery, plus a free 60-day trial of Norton Online Backup (5GB) and 35 free MP3s from eMusic. What's interesting to note here is that the storage capabilities of the Acclaim depend directly on the color of choice, the “Fire Engine Red” and “Electric Blue” being available in 320 and 500GB versions, while the “Piano Black” finish provides 320, 500, 640GB and a whopping 1TB capabilities. Next in line comes the Wallet Drive, a thin, portable and executive-inspired 500GB HDD that offers high-end style with a smooth leather enclosure and contrast trim. The new unit is compatible with all USB connections and includes Turbo USB software and Nero BackItUp & Burn software with full system backup and restore functions. Last, but certainly not least, comes the Store ‘n’ Go SuperSpeed USB 3.0 compact portable hard drive, that, as the name says, leverages the very high data transfer capabilities enabled by SuperSpeed technology. The brand-new portable hard drive is available in storage capacities of 500GB, 750GB and 1TB and is backwardly compatible with USB 2.0 ports, ensuring that all of the user’s content is completely accessible. Available in a sleek piano-black finish, the unit includes Nero BackItUp & Burn software for Windows, a free trial of Norton Online Backup (5GB) and Verbatim’s industry-leading 7-year limited warranty. Sadly, no pricing details regarding either of these products has been provided thus far, but we'll keep you informed as soon as we find out more on the matter.
