Jack loses yet another debate on violent games, this time to IGDA President Jason Della Rocca

Yes I know, Jack Thompson again... Well, if the man's got to present us with his opinion cause that's what his job description says, then we have to present others with our opinion on Thompson's comments, 'cause that's what our job is all about. So without further ado, here's the latest from Jack Thompson, American game hating attorney (mostly GTA and Manhunt) and critic of violence and sex in the entertainment industry.

IGDA president Jason Della Rocca decided to take on Thomson's challenge and face him in "...one or more college debates, anywhere anytime, to discuss whether violent video games in any fashion caused school killings" (the Virginia Tech massacre) as Thompson pointed out. Naturally, tension was beginning to be felt by the middle of the pair's debate, as Della Rocca's blog posts, but as usual, Thompson got himself slapped in the face by his own words.

When it was time to talk money, Thompson answers that his likes can "expect to net approximately $3000 or more per event," but quickly adds that he's "not in this issue for the money." God I love this stuff! Interviews and debates that include Thompson's comments are like sick comedy shows. And if he's not in it for the money, then what? Fun? It is a possibility, the man's way too determined to bring the gaming industry down.

For crying out loud, the man emailed the FBI because Kotaku refused to withdraw an article. OK, enough Thompson for this week, I'm exhausted.
