In the land of computer cooling Thermalright is one of the most respected names out there, but their latest creation must seem a little strange even in the eyes of their most loyal fans, the TR 360 coming as a third party cooling solution for Microsoft's Xbox 360 console.

Designed to cool the Xbox 360 GPU, Thermalright says this was built in order to provide better cooling and heat dissipation, to reduce the chances of a break down, and to prolong GPU usage.

In order to do so, the TR 360 is made out of five separate heatsinks that are tied together with the help of 4 6mm heatpipes, these transferring the heat from the GPU to the heatsinks.

The whole system is nickel plated, the heatsink base as well as the heatpipes being made out of C1100 pure copper.

Although it looks fairly massive in the pictures that Thermalright provided, the TR 360 weights only 275g, the whole system measuring 178x171x 52.7mm.

Unfortunately, Thermalright didn't provide us with a compatibility list for the TR 360, although this is bound to hit sooner or later as the company usually provides such lists with its products.

However, if you consider installing the TR 360 in your Xbox you have to understand that doing so requires for the console to be disassembled , Thermalright stating they can't be held responsible for the risks involved during this process.

Furthermore, I have to note that taking your Xbox 360 will immediately void your warranty so any mishaps that may occur will be your responsibility.

Unfortunately, Thermalright has not provided us with a price for the TR 360, although I expect this to be fairly expensive as it targets the most die-hard Xbox 360 enthusiasts around.

End of it all, I really must say this is one interesting product, although it still looks a bit mad when you first lay your eyes upon it.
