We're pretty sure that many Xbox 360 fans out there do most of their gaming in the dark, and for this reason, equipping their controllers with some thumbsticks that glow in the dark seems to be a pretty hot idea, at least according to BGRMODS, the company enabling this add-on. Practically, the LED illuminating thumbsticks can be installed only if the IntensaFIRE 2.0 rapid-fire device for the Xbox 360 wireless controller is also present, an accessory that, according to the company, should be outed this week. Those of you who're not really familiar with BGRMODS' INTENSAFIRE device should know that this accessory modifies XBOX 360 controllers (CG, Matrix and wireless), allowing them to control 5-mode sleeper settings, and use customizable user programmable modes. The mod uses the existing Sync button to toggle modes, and on and off and also enables dual rapid-fire- usable in all XBOX 360 games. Its successor, the IntensaFIRE 2.0, boast all the old features of the regular IntensaFIRE with more advanced learning modes along with many more detailed features. Plus, as mentioned before, it enables users to add the LED thumbsticks, with 6 modes and 4 color combinations, to the controller, in a very fast and easy manner (apparently, gamers will only require a screwdriver in order to carry out the modification). Coy Christmas, President of BGRMODS, had this to say regarding the company's announcement: "We continue to expand our Mods selections for serious gamers.” “We saw a need in the gaming market, which inspired the creation of the IntensaFIRE for Xbox. From there we created the PlayStation 3 version of the IntensaFIRE, The NoScope, Gamers Towel, Hub Cap, and a now a revamped Xbox 360 IntensaFIRE and LED illuminating thumbsticks," added Mr. Christmas. Sadly, no pricing details for these things have been provided just yet, but since the original IntensaFIRE for Xbox 360 sold for somewhere in the vicinity of 30 US dollars, you can expect the newer model to keep things in the range of affordability too.
