It's not a hyper edition that comes from the future, but it does have a famous autograph

There are a lot of Xbox 360 fans out there that have dug deep into their pockets to purchase a limited edition console or paid to have their rig modified with some unique concept art. But to believe that someone would pay at least 1.1 million dollars for an Xbox 360 is close to lunacy. The item is signed by former Alaskan governor and vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin and was put up for auction on eBay starting at just over one million dollars.

Canadian David Morrill is the one that set up the bid, but isn't at his first attempt. The bid was pulled off the site two times before, but they say that third time's a charm. Morrill even depicted the encounter between himself and the political celebrity that led to the signing of the Xbox 360. "When I was in front of Sarah Palin, I told her that I had traveled three days to see her and asked her to sign my [Xbox 360]," Morrill stated in the eBay listing. "She said it was the most extravagant thing she had ever been asked to sign."

The first time the item was pulled off eBay was because of an improper description of the auctioned item. "This item was originally listed on the August 4th, 2009, under the user id dmorrill123 and was de-listed for the following reason: 'Insufficient description of the item or no photos of the item,'" he said. "This problem was remedied by uploading extra pictures and adding some technical information." Now the item even comes with pictures that depict Palin in her hometown of Wasilla where Morrill encountered the politician.

The auction was suspended once again, this time along with his account. Why his account was suspended as well, he didn't clarify but he did rush to give an explanation concerning the incident. "This item was again de-listed on August 7th, my original account was suspended, and the item was de-listed for the following reason: 'Pay Pal is unable to process a payment of this size,'" he states. "I have now opened a new account, dmorrill321, and am using a processor other than Pay Pal." Things seem legitimate enough, but even if someone would be willing to pay over $1 million for Microsoft's console they had better double check and triple check what they're buying.
