No surprise here

Blizzard is one of the most popular video game developers and publishers, thanks to the great titles it has released up until now and due to the fact that it maintains a close relationship with its user and fan base, who can interact with the large corporation on many levels.

For such fans BlizzCon is held, an event where fans of the company can gather and attend various panels held by developers and offer their own input about the games the company makes. As you all know, on Saturday the first batch of tickets for the convention were made available in order for people to start purchasing them at just 125 dollars.

To almost nobody's surprise, the tickets were gone in a matter of seconds, thanks to the company's new ticket queue system, and due to the large number of fans who kept refreshing the page over and over again. This just goes to show how devoted Blizzard fans are when it comes to their favorite company.

As always, when demand vastly exceeds the offer, speculators appear, and they weren't late to Blizzard's event either, as a lot of tickets for BlizzCon have already appeared on popular auction site Ebay, going for prices way higher than the original, reaching even 1,500 dollars or more.

As sad as this may seem, a lot of fans will gladly pay out such an amount just to experience BlizzCon and see the developers from their favorite company give lectures and show previews of the upcoming titles, like StarCraft II, Diablo III or other games.

For those who don't want to use Ebay, you can prepare the F5 button on your keyboard for May 30, when another batch of tickets will go on sale from the company's website.
