14 DAY TRIAL // A new poster for the upcoming “The Wolverine” has been released and it’s perhaps the most striking of the lot. Done in a similar sumi-e style as this one, it has Jean Grey front and center – painted in blood and ink.

Collider notes that it’s Fox’s Chief Creative Officer Tony Sella who’s in charge of the sumi-e-style poster campaign, and you just have to admit that he’s done a fabulous job.
Fans of the X-Men franchise will recognize Famke Janssen on the most recent release, as Jean Grey, Logan / Wolverine’s lost love.
The fact that there’s blood on the poster makes me think of the worst, I have to admit.
“Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed,” reads a brief synopsis of the film.
