Because technology is needed in the most distant places and sometimes in quite harsh conditions, Corsair decided to ease our job and launched a new 4GB USB stick enclosed in the proprietary all-rubber Flash Voyager housing, boasting water-resistance and tolerance to high temperatures . The new stick is also equipped with a security application and features dual channel technology.

Flash Voyager is the first product in the industry to feature an all-rubber housing. The USB drive performs reliably even under the most extreme conditions. Whether it is exposed to severe temperatures, moisture or physical abuse, Flash Voyager keeps the valuable data safe. For security, each Flash Voyager is bundled with an application that allows users to create a hidden, password-protected partition on the USB drive.

Engineered with the dual channel technology found in other Flash Voyager drives, the new USB gadget delivers fast read and write performance at 19MB/sec and 13MB/sec respectively. When reading or writing data to the drive, dual channel technology allows twice the usual interface bandwidth between the NAND flash and the controller.

Corsair Voyager comes with a 10 year warranty and is priced at US$259. In the product package you can also find CDs with software and drivers and an USB extension cable.
