Samsung, the mobile phone manufacturer we all know as one of the top developers of new mobile technologies, is launching these days in Italy their SGH-P930 cell phone, a device that will establish Samsung's position as the leader of the European mobile TV market. The P930 will also have integrated, besides the mobile TV technology everybody loves, the HSPDA high-speed data transmission that will offer the users higher speeds of content downloading and uploading.

The HSPDA/UMTS/GSM/GPRS enabled handset works on 900, 1800, 1900 and 2100 MHz networks and offers a 2.3 inch 240x320 resolution LCD screen to offer the best mobile TV viewing conditions possible while on-the-go, with support for Picture-in-Picture function so one can watch two different TV channels at the same time. The built-in 2 megapixel digital camera will offer you a easy way to capture every important moment of your life, to make video calls and to record video clips that one can store on the built-in microSD memory expansion card slot.

Kitae Lee, the President of Samsung Electronics Telecommunication Network Business, has declared that "Mobile TV will change the lifestyle of people and will be a big contributor in the future of an ubiquitous world. Samsung will lead the worldwide mobile TV market by providing a variety of mobile TV phones with advanced features and premium design".

Although the store release date of the phone is approaching faster than a speeding bullet, information about the pricing of this device has not been yet made available to the general public, so will just have to wait until someone gets a glimpse of the price tag that Telecom Italia is going to attach to the SGH-P930. Until then, stay around because you will have more to find out about this subject if interested, and, if anything new comes to the surface, you will be the first ones to know.
