Delicious desserts make people salivate at a simple picture of the sweet treat and that's the case with this brilliant dessert invented by pastry chef Dominique Ansel – the chocolate chip cookie milk shot, which is basically a chocolate cookie shaped like a shot glass.

The famous baker created the new invention using extra-aerated cookie dough, which was backed on a cylindrical mold that had the shape of a tall shot glass. The resulting chocolate cookies are crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside and go perfectly with ice-cold milk. It's served at room temperature.

Ansel has recently announced that he would be bringing the new and delicious chocolate chip cookie milk shots at SXSW Interactive Festival this Sunday night. Ansel said that the inspiration for the dessert came when he ate an Oreo with milk for the first time.

According to Gizmodo, Ansel is a talented pastry chef and runs the Dominque Ansel Bakery in Manhattan. He is famous for bringing the world the Cronut, which is a croissant-doughnut hybrid.

His latest dessert creation is exclusive to attendees of the “Cronut at Midnight” event, hosted by Ansel himself. Global communications firm Allison+Partners has teamed up with Ansel to throw the party starting at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday until 2 a.m. His appearance is meant to honor the sense of innovation found at the annual gathering.
