Motorola has launched the KRZR follow-up, the L7e model handset, which is getting lots of improvements compared to the L7 version, many of these being borrowed from the successful KRZR phone series. The most obvious change in the L7e is the software interface similar to the one that the MOTOKRZR offers, an interface that gives a more user friendly functionality to the handset. The quad-band GSM phone has a candybar form factor and sports EDGE and GPRS class 10, a 1.3 digital camera with 8x digital zoom and full screen viewing, full screen video capture and playback, a built-in digital audio player that offers MP3, AAC, AAC+ and AAC+ Enhanced support, Push-to-Talk and Push-to-View technology for on-the-spot connectivity with your friends and family, video streaming, stereo A2DP Bluetooth wireless connectivity, 20 MB of internal memory and the capability to expand it through the microSD external memory card slot that offers support for cards up to 2 GB, messaging via IM, MMS and Email (depending on your service provider network), a full duplex speaker and progressive download capabilities.

A great pack of goodies to get from a candybar and a great gesture from Motorola that thought of making such a gift to all its customers at the year?s end.

Rumors say that the American carriers aren?t planning to get it for their users in the near future, but because of its quad-band capabilities, it should be a piece of cake to use it on your US trips when you?ll go shopping.

Have a nice weekend and drop by any time to find out if anything new has come to surface from the mobile market!
