This is a clamshell phone with an entry level package of features.

After all those mind blowing handsets released lately, Samsung has made the time to develop the beauty that sits among the beasts, the SGH-X520 mobile phone, coming in a clamshell form factor and with not so many and impressive features but still being able to impress any one and to prove that bold designs have the most chances to get the ovations from the mobile customers.

In this case, Samsung ended up by releasing some kind of compromise between a phone that will surely make you want to touch it at least once and one that offers only the basic features without any kind of Star Trek super high-tech technology.

The handset will offer you a 128x160 pixels 65k color display, a 0.3 megapixel VGA digital camera, MP3 ringtone support and an integrated FM radio. You won't get any wireless Bluetooth connectivity, MP3 player or memory expansion slot on this beauty, and I have to agree with Samsung on this one, because this is the only way the people that want a phone with good looks, with no advanced features and with a fair price will be able to afford one.

Having such a stylish design and a very probable low price, this Samsung phone is doomed to become a very popular handset between the people that really dig the simple devices that do what they are meant to do (the fact that this one also does it in style couldn't be anything else than a plus).

Thumbs up to Samsung for having the idea and making the time to develop an entry level device like this and also doing its best to make it look good and appealing.
