"The Legend of Spyro" has just won the Best Mobile Video Game Award at the second annual Video Game Festival, in Montreuil, France. The game will be available for mobile players in the near future, continuing the success that it has managed to reach on PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance systems up to this point.

It is a natural course that games usually take, when trying to expand, after the success that they proved to have on some environments up to one point, on the mobile phone market as well. It often proves to be an excellent decision, which also seems to be the case with this adaptation of "The Legend of Spyro", as the recently received award shows.

"The Spyro franchise is a classic franchise that is truly loved by both kids and adults alike and we are thrilled to once again bring the mighty purple dragon to mobile phones around the world", stated Paul Maglione, president of Vivendi Games Mobile. The company now has the chance to continue the success that the game has proved to have on other platforms until now. Because of this, Paul Maglione also stated that "We are extremely excited and honored that our game, The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night was awarded the coveted Best Mobile Game Award by the Video Game Festival".

The game asks the players to guide Spyro, the purple dragon, through 13 levels, in order to halt the resurrection of the Dark Master. Spyro's powers are gradually unlocked throughout the game, which enables the players to discover a large number of captivating mysteries. The graphics are colorful and pleasant, also adding to the game's charm.

"The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night (mobile version)" will be available on mobile phones at a worldwide scale, starting November.
