The Visionaire 1 is the latest creation emerging from the Karma International labs, the manufacturer of the mind-boggling, stunning and fearsome Enigma speaker system. And since we've already mentioned these unearthly speakers, you should expect a piece of multimedia equipment that lives up to the tremendous fame of the Enigma. By all means, the Visionaire 1 is one A/V contraption you don’t meet everyday, save for the case you won the lottery and don't know how to spend money faster.

But if you're the kind of generous audiophile and are in search of an integrated solution for one of your rooms, it might prove that the Visionaire 1 was exactly what you were looking for.

The first thing about it is its massive appearance and almost aggressive design. Despite the curvaceous aluminium panels and trimmed leather accents, the Visionaire 1 looks very space-age and will surely set on fire the imagination of the Start Trek fans out there. Yet one could have the Visionaire 1 easily integrated in almost any décor, thanks to its rather unobtrusive presence; the Visionaire 1 may be big, but it can blend in very well in your setting.

This multimedia rack houses a 5.1-7.1 top-drawer audio system that will deliver you all the exciting surround sound you've been dreaming about. There is enough space inside the Visionaire 1 for you to load in all your A/V gear; and you'll surely love the plasma screen, which can be concealed under the tabletop at the press of a button.

Karma have been rather scarce on the technical side and unfortunately we cannot give you extensive details on what's on the inside, such as a total number of speakers, frequency range and power. For now, we must add that the whole thing seems to be built like a tank and definitely making a good piece of heritage for your children and even their own children. And, oh, the price: if you feel like having the Visionaire 1 installed in your living room, you better be prepared to dispense of some $130,000. Told you Karma doesn't come cheap!

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is .
