From O.L.S. Audiotechnology

I've seen some pretty expensive speakers in my life, and at some point, I even said to myself: "God damn, those are pricey", but obviously, I was extremely wrong.

It is now the year 2007, and I think this would be a good time to say that "I've seen the most expensive speakers". Introducing the "Grand Enigma", with an unearthly price tag of 1 million dollars. Now that's what I call expensive.

There aren't too many specifications available, but as Adam Frucci says "do the specs even matter?"

Kharma.com, owned by the O.L.S. Audiotechnology, says that the Enigma System was a custom project designed and built by O.L.S. in a huge cellar in Belgium and that it has become a statement in the high-end world.

Apparently, Karma is a purely Dutch audio product range and the systems are developed, assembled and tested in Breda with "utmost care by a team of highly engaged specialists"

My colleague, Florin Tibu, had an article recently in which he talked about Muon speakers, the result of the collaboration between manufacturer KEF and the designer Ross Lovegrove (iMac, Walkman). He asked then a rhetorical question: "How much are you really willing to pay for sound? Hundreds of dollars, maybe thousands?"

And I am asking you now: "Would you be willing to pay 1 million dollars for your speakers?"

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
