There are a lot of MP3 players on the market, each claiming it brings something new. But Monolith Premium MX7000 comes first because of its aluminium case, 1.5 mm thick, made using X-Protect, a new manufacturing standard developed by eStar Laboratories.

Practically indestructible, Monolith Premium MX7000 costs 150 USD and has a 512 MB storing capacity. eStar is recommended to extreme sports aficionados, so that they don't have to mind about the MP3 player endurance.

Another eliminated care by Monolith Premium MX7000 is the Li-ion rechargeable battery, which has a 19 hour lifetime specification. This can be recharged either by the computer's USB connection or by using an AC adapter that can be bought separately. The loading time of the battery for a full cycle is of 3 hours.

Also the audio quality is very important for an MP3 player, the Monolith Premium MX7000 does not disappoint here. The player has a sophisticated audio processor called Wolfson sigma delta DAC, which offers 28mW on each audio channel.

And like any other MP3 player that has self respect, Monolith Premium MX7000 can play multiple audio file formats like MP3, WMA, OGG and WMA DRM (Digital Rights Management). And for giving full features, it has an FM tuber, an FM recorder, direct MP3 encoding and voice recording capabilities. Moreover, there is a bookmarking feature that keeps in the player's memory your favorite songs.

But there is also a bad side of things besides Monolith Premium MX7000's low storing space. The player has only an OLEG display that offers only two colors with 16 tones of grey, so no photos on the Monolith Premium MX7000 player.

For customizing Monolith Premium MX7000 you can download images and 3D animation and use them for the intro logo of the device. Also, for more usability, you can set the hour when the player should begin recording radio shows, including the channel you want.
