Will COM and Will COM Okinawa announced a new handset "WX310J" from the Japan Radio Co. Ltd. that will be sold starting January 18th.

The WX310J from Japanese Radio Co. Ltd is made for Office executives with security as the top priority. The manufacturer decided to include more security functions and less phone features in this handset, like a built in camera for example. The WX310J can be used to secure users desktop: access will only be granted after users connect the phone to their PC's - they will be required to place their finger at the center of the phone on the fingerprint scanner and if the records match they will be granted access. The fingerprint scanner can also be used to secure sensitive data on the phone.

The device features a miniSD card that helps increasing the memory capacity of the phone. The phone supports POP3 and SMTP e-mail servers as well as J2ME technology, weighs 113 grams and it's sized at 119 ? 53 ? 16.5 mm. It should be available only in Japan at the moment, for about $220 USD.
