If you're a true comic-book fan, language barriers shouldn't stop you from enjoying fresh footage from Marvel's upcoming blockbuster “The Avengers.” Check it out above.

The first international teaser trailer for the film that will see the biggest and most powerful superheroes from the Marvel universe join forces to fight a common and very dangerous enemy, premiered in October.

Since then, we've been clinging at straws and sitting at the edge of our seats, since Marvel barely deigned to put out a couple of pics and headers go keep us going.

Today brings the German teaser trailer, which, you guessed it, features footage that hasn't been included in the international one.

All dialog aside (which is probably not much different from that in the first trailer), the clip includes a better look at Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), as well as a couple more action scenes.

Check it out above. “The Avengers” is scheduled for release on May 4, 2012.
